After a long break, I returned to Goa and stayed at the Nizmar Hotel. Unfortunately, I found it to be lacking, especially the dining options which were quite poor. While the rooms did manage to be clean and basic, they had some strange quirks, like power issues when locking the door. The beach access was not as convenient as I had hoped either, which contributed to my disappointment overall, making this visit less than ideal.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean but quite basic, with a strange setup that included a kitchen sink in the lounge area. The lighting, especially in the bathrooms, left a lot to be desired.
Service
5.0
Service felt a bit chaotic with the room changes and setups around the pool area. It seemed like they struggled to manage the guests effectively.
Location
5.0
The location wasn’t great as the walk to the beach was a lengthy trek through less-than-pleasant areas, and the beach itself was overcrowded and not well-maintained.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a letdown, with the food quality not meeting expectations. I’d recommend eating out instead as the options at the hotel were not appealing.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area served as the main eating space, which felt cramped and limited. Overall, the facilities did not live up to a 'resort spa' experience.

My stay at Nizmar Hotel was quite disappointing, as it felt more like a hassle than a relaxing vacation. While the rooms were clean and basic, the overall experience was marred by poor dining options and an inconvenient beach access. I may not return to North Goa again, though I still love India.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean, basic, and equipped with ceiling fans, which I appreciated given the heat. However, I had to switch rooms three times in 18 hours, which was frustrating.
Service
5.0
The staff seemed more focused on their jobs than providing a good experience. They were polite, but their attention felt misplaced, especially when it came to resolving issues.
Location
5.0
The hotel is located a good distance from the beach, which requires navigating through the hotel’s kitchen and past a rubbish dump. The area has become quite touristy and crowded, making it less appealing for a relaxing stay.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was quite lackluster with subpar food and slow service. Breakfast items were often empty, and the meals felt unappetizing.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area also served as the main dining space, which wasn't ideal as there was constant movement of tables and chairs. Overall, the amenities did not meet my expectations.

After a long break, I returned to Goa and stayed at the Nizmar Hotel, but I must say, it was disappointing. The beach has changed drastically, covered in sunbeds and litter. The hotel experience was peculiar with room issues and an impractical dining setup by the pool. While the rooms were clean and basic, the access to the beach was inconvenient, making this trip less enjoyable than I hoped.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean but basic, featuring a kitchen sink in the lounge area. However, the air conditioning power shuts off every time you lock the door, which left the room uncomfortably hot upon returning after a day out.
Service
5.0
The service felt disorganized, as we had to switch rooms multiple times in just 18 hours. It was frustrating to navigate these issues during our stay.
Location
5.0
The location was not ideal. The beach was described as dirty, and getting there meant a long walk through the hotel's kitchen and around a rubbish area.
Dining
5.0
Dining at the hotel was a letdown; the food was unappetizing, and the setup was chaotic. I would recommend eating out instead.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel had a pool, its dual purpose as a dining area created an odd ambiance, and I didn't find the facilities convenient or relaxing.

I returned to Goa after a 3-year break and stayed at the Nizmar Hotel. The experience was mixed; while the rooms were clean, the beach and surroundings felt overcrowded and dirty. I faced issues with room availability and power outages affecting the air conditioning. The dining area was also used for setting up, making it less inviting. I think this might be my last visit to North Goa, but I still love India.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean but quite basic and lacked modern amenities. The noise from the air conditioning made it hard to sleep, and the power was switched off every time I locked the door, which was quite inconvenient.
Service
5.0
The overall service felt strange; I had to deal with room mix-ups, and the self-service approach was a bit pretentious. The staff, while generally friendly, didn’t enhance my experience.
Location
5.0
The hotel is positioned quite far from the beach, with access through a back entrance and a lengthy walk. The area has become very touristy and crowded with water sports, which has taken away some charm.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining experience quite disappointing, with limited options and food that didn't appeal much. Service was also hectic with items running out frequently.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area being used as the dining space was not ideal. The facilities seemed to be in constant flux with setup and takedown around me.

I returned to Goa for the first time in three years and stayed at Nizmar Hotel. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. While the rooms were clean and basic, the overall condition of the hotel felt off. The beach was overcrowded and dirty, making it less than ideal. The food options were also disappointing, leading me to recommend dining outside. It’s sad because I had hoped for a better experience after such a long break.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean, basic, but in need of some maintenance. They came with a kitchen sink in the lounge area, which felt a bit unusual.
Service
5.0
Service was a mixed bag. While some staff were helpful, I often felt like I was inconvenienced when there were room issues. Accessing the beach was also quite a trek.
Location
5.0
The location was not great. While it is somewhat near the beach, the access was poor and the beach itself was overcrowded and littered.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was lackluster at best. The food was unappetizing, and the limited options pushed me to eat out instead.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities included a pool area that was consistently cleaned, but the overall setup, where the dining area was also the pool area, felt chaotic.
